Alrighty! Lisa Hetrick here...You asked and I created it for YOU!

Copic 104: Properties of Light and Shadow is Sold Out for Thursday, March 31st, 6-8 pm
Second date is Sunday April 17th  1-3 PM

In this advanced class, you will learn how to color more realistically. We will spend the entire class working through and planning your light source. Prepare to be challenged as we discuss and practice how to get beyond the diffused world of light and learn the properties of light and shadow.

You will be guided through the creation of a “light study” using a linear light source (the sun) and color a Sunflower illustration with highlight and shadow. Linear (sun), radial (candle) and single point (spotlight) clear guides will be provided in class as a tool for the “light study.” In class we will color using the linear guide.

Students must bring their own markers. Markers will not be provided. A shadow color chart is posted on the PhotoScraps website . See suggested colors in the flyer below.

Please be sure to bring colors that can be used as highlight, midtone and shadow. We will be breaking the “natural blending family” rule when selecting color.

Highlight Copic colors end in 0-3
Midtone Copic colors end in 4-6
Hope to see you there!
