Going Couture with Gina A

Hi Crafters!
If you haven't been in the store to see this month's Design Team entries, drop what you're doing and come in NOW! The pictures on-line just don't do it justice - such beautiful artwork. I was thrilled with how my two-page layout turned out. Then I saw the pages, cards and other projects done by my colleagues and I was blown away! Can't believe how unique each piece of art looks even though we used the same products. Amazing, fun and so inspirational. I can't wait to scraplift all the great ideas I've seen!

For my layouts, I used the Couture Bliss (green)pages for my background, embellished with strips of Couture Marquisette (small dots) and cut out the flowers from the Couture Charmeuse page for further design embellishment. It all came together in a simple, elegant design. I chalked the butterflies to blend with the paper colors and added some green cardstock for mats. I love how the design and papers compliment some pictures from one of my labyrinth walks! The LABYRINTH title letters are from my stash and - once again! - I used my favorite white signo pen for journaling on the green background. If you don't have one of these pens in your supply bin, what are you waiting for?!?!?
